This role is designed for a results-driven professional who thrives in a culture of service excellence and safety. The Aircraft Maintenance Production Manager will provide leadership, technical guidance, and strategic oversight to ensure optimal aircraft availability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance to team leads and maintenance planners to optimize aircraft availability while managing costs effectively.
- Oversee troubleshooting and the strategic completion of scheduled maintenance to ensure efficiency.
- Manage maintenance schedules and staff, balancing operational demands with workforce considerations, including PTO requests.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team performance, implement improvements, and report results to executive leadership.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering leadership growth and preparing individuals for future leadership roles.
- Support Quality and Safety teams by ensuring tasks are completed with risk assessments and hazard mitigation.
- Collaborate with internal departments to maintain seamless operations and uphold superior service standards.
- Promote a culture of safety and service excellence within the maintenance department.
Qualifications:
- Valid Canadian AME licence, M2 category, with a minimum of 6 years of experience.
- Proven experience in aircraft maintenance management.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on service excellence and safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in technical writing and computer-based maintenance management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Commitment to continuous improvement in operational and safety standards.
