Job Description:

- Be an active member of an interdisciplinary team that provides high-quality, safe patient care, ensuring individual needs are met.

- Uphold nursing practices as outlined by professional practice standards and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics.

- Demonstrate exemplary practice by performing the Nursing Process using evidence-based methods and analytical/critical thinking to individualize patient care.

- Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care that adapts service delivery to accommodate cultural diversity and is consistent with population-specific characteristics.

- Coordinate effective partnerships with patients and significant others to focus on patient goals and outcomes.

- Promote teamwork and collaboration with diverse interdisciplinary communication, performance improvement, and shared governance participation.

- Participate in professional development, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and model the professional practice of nursing.

- Advocate for evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement. Engage in activities like value analysis for patient care product evaluation.

- Comply with legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements and standards to enhance patient safety and care quality.

- Plan proactively for patient care across the continuum, developing protocols and procedures for best practice outcomes.

- Support the effective use of human and material resources to provide efficient patient care.

- Perform additional duties as assigned and comply with all organizational policies and the code of conduct.
