WHAT WILLYOUDO?

• Oversee and manage the maintenance and troubleshooting of hydronic boiler systems, including boilers, circulation pumps, expansion tanks, and process pumps.
• Supervise the maintenance and troubleshooting of domestic hot water systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Manage and support HVAC system maintenance and troubleshooting, covering AHU/MUA, air compressors, RTY, exhaust and transfer fans, dry coolers, ductless splits, condensing units, and terminal unit heaters.
• Conduct and oversee combustion analysis and adjustments as needed to maintain proper system functionality.
• Diagnose and evaluate multi-stage gas valves, ensuring accurate operation and performance through system measurements.
• Analyze data to determine and adjust heating system control set points, ensuring alignment with manufacturer specifications.
• Utilize VFA survey software to collect equipment data and log replacement equipment information.
• Supervise the installation of all HVAC and heating system equipment across various properties.
• Assess property needs and provide comprehensive recommendations for system installations, maintenance, and overall functionality for hydronic and HVAC systems.
• Review and analyze preventive maintenance reports from third-party vendors, addressing and reporting any deficiencies identified.
• Conduct system audits and inspections, ensuring all work-preventive maintenance, service calls, temporary unit installations, full mechanical system revamps, and third-party inspections-is completed to standard.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices for HVAC and hydronic systems.
• Travel locally and provincially as required to oversee projects and conduct site evaluations.
• Other duties as required.

WHATWILL YOUNEED?

• Class 5 Power Engineering Ticket.
• 5 - 10 years' experience with variety of boiler atmospheric hydronic boiler brands.
• 5 - 10 years' experience with HVAC systems.
• Hands-on experience with both mid and high-efficiency boilers, hot water tanks, and HVAC systems
• Project management experience an asset
• Program management experience an asset
• Valid class 5 driver's license.
• AWWA Certification (Cross Connection Testing Certification) considered an asset.
• Must complete & pass a criminal record check.
