Description:

Amazon is seeking a smart, creative, and driven PR Manager to join the Amazon Health Services communications team. In this role, you will primarily support Amazon's Pharmacy business and work on product launches, storytelling initiatives, and momentum PR programs.

As a PR Manager for Amazon Health Services, you will partner with business leaders and teams to develop and execute communications programs that help educate and inspire our key audiences. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, developing and executing owned and earned communications strategies, tactics, and content; ongoing media relations; collaborating with stakeholders across a variety of Amazon communications and business teams; and working with the other communications leaders across Amazon Health Services to deliver results.

Key job responsibilities

- Create and execute proactive, creative, and comprehensive communications strategies for Amazon Health Services.

- Lead communications strategies, programs, and content related to Amazon Pharmacy.

- Manage executive speaking and media engagements.

- Provide strategic PR counsel and support to business leaders.

- Keep current on industry trends, issues, and news and proactively provide related council.

- Build and maintain relevant media relationships.

- Successfully manage complex, fast-moving and unexpected communications challenges.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience

- Bachelor's degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- High levels of creativity

- Healthcare industry experience

- Experience proactively managing a network of media contacts

- Strong written and verbal communications

- Knowledge of consumer, technology, and business media landscape

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $188,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
