Full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor in California (Remote)
We are currently seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT-LPCC-LCSW) to join our team. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one therapy, group therapy, and family therapy sessions to address patients' specific needs and goals
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' mental health concerns, strengths, and challenges
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on the patient's needs and goal
- Guide the implementation of clinical interventions, including but not limited to facilitating treatment team meetings
- Incorporate evidence-based therapeutic techniques to help patients manage their symptoms and improve their overall well-being within sessions and in the moment as needed in the milieu
- Educate patients about their mental health and/or substance use condition, self-care strategies, and treatment options to support patients in reviewing the costs and benefits of treatment engagement and aftercare plans
- Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, including patient progress, goals, and interventions
- Collaborate with other members of the treatment team, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to coordinate care and ensure optimal outcomes
Requirements
- A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Accredited Institution is required
- Current license by the State of California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners as LMFT-LPCC-LCSW
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and digital documentation
- Strong background in clinical counseling techniques and methodologies
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and support
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
