Senior UIX Engineer - Arlington, VA
Full Visibility is seeking a Senior UIX Engineer for hybrid work in Arlington, VA. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance.
The Senior UIX Engineer will design and develop scalable, high-performance user interfaces for applications dealing with unique and complex data. The ideal candidate has a strong background in user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design, front-end development, and optimizing workflows for data-intensive applications. This role will focus on building intuitive, efficient, and visually compelling interfaces that enable users to navigate large-scale datasets seamlessly. The ideal candidate is both a technical expert in UI development and a strategic thinker in UX design, capable of translating complex data interactions into streamlined user experiences.

Requirements
Active Top Secret Clearance
At least five (5+) years of experience in UI/UX engineering, front-end development, or interaction design
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
Proven experience designing scalable, data-driven interfaces that support complex workflows
Strong understanding of data visualization techniques for large datasets
Experience conducting user research and usability testing
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and efficient data-fetching strategies
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability best practices
Experience optimizing UI performance for high-volume data applications
Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment with cross-functional teams
Preferred:
Experience optimizing UI performance for high-volume data applications
Experience with forensic data processing applications or similarly intricate data-driven environments
Familiarity with object storage solutions and handling structured/unstructured data
Experience with data visualization libraries such as D3.js or Chart.js
Understanding of backend technologies for improved collaboration (Node.js, Python, .NET, etc.)
Knowledge of security best practices for handling sensitive data in user interfaces
