Things You Will Do

As an Emergency Room Physician, you'll be at the forefront of life-saving medical interventions and critical patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Rapidly assessing and treating patients in emergency situations, stabilizing critical conditions, and determining next steps for ongoing care.
• Diagnosing medical conditions and initiating treatment regimens, medications, and emergency procedures.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging to support timely clinical decisions.
• Clearly communicating treatment plans to patients and their families, ensuring they understand their care path.
• Collaborating with healthcare teams, paramedics, and specialists to provide comprehensive emergency care.
• Maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring patient confidentiality and accurate medical documentation.
• Efficiently utilizing electronic health records (EHRs) to document patient encounters and treatment orders.
• Adapting to high-pressure and unpredictable emergency scenarios with a clear, methodical approach.
• Performing additional duties as assigned to meet operational and contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in an emergency room or critical care setting.
• Active, unrestricted physician license with favorable credentialing.
• Current certifications in:
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure, unpredictable, and fast-paced environments.
• Flexibility to adapt to shift changes and evolving operational needs.

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions

• Work is primarily performed in a fast-paced emergency medical setting.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and respond quickly to emergency situations.
• Ability to work under high-stress conditions while managing multiple critical cases.
