Position Overview:
The Strategic Talent Management and Organizational Development Advisor role supports and develops our organization's growth and effectiveness. The team works closely with leadership, managers, and employees to identify areas for improvement and develop and implement strategies to facilitate that growth. It will connect all Alkamists to our vision and drive results and behaviors aligned with our Values. This position reports to the VP of Talent Management & L&D.

Position Overview:
The Strategic Talent Management and Organizational Development Advisor role supports and develops our organization's growth and effectiveness. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Partner to support the career development process, including career pathing, competency work, and career planning based on the talent review process
- Conduct organizational assessments to identify areas where the organization could improve its performance, culture, or structure
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Facilitate change management efforts, including communications and training
- Design and implement performance management programs to ensure employees meet performance standards and goals
- Analyze data and create reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization and help it adapt to changes in the market and industry
- Build clear career paths for all Alkamist in the organization
- Assess the development needs of all operational, business, and functional units and evaluate and oversee the implementation of organizational development strategies, systems, and processes
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of programs, policies, and strategies customized to fulfill organizational development needs and achieve program objectives
- Measure the achievement of established goals
- Manage performance appraisal and feedback programs and coach managers on the performance review process and the appropriate feedback, language, and documentation they should use
- Collect and evaluate input from all organizational levels regarding noteworthy accomplishments, areas for advancement, highlights and concerns
- Optimize employee utilization by increasing cross-functionality and interdepartmental cooperation
- Measure the impact of interventions on employee performance, efficiency, retention, and job satisfaction
Required skills and knowledge:
- Competency and Career Path Design: Expertise in designing and implementing frameworks for skill development and career progression aligned with business goals
- Organizational Behavior and Development Theory: In-depth knowledge of theories and practices that drive effective organizational structures and behaviors
- Change Leadership: Proficiency in leading and supporting change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder buy-in
- Leadership Development: Skilled in creating and delivering programs that build leadership capabilities across all levels of the organization
- Onboarding Program Strategy: Experience in developing comprehensive onboarding programs that facilitate new hire integration and accelerate productivity
- Employee Engagement and Retention: Strong understanding of strategies that foster a positive workplace culture, enhance engagement, and improve retention
- Project Management Excellence: Ability to manage complex projects, overseeing timelines, resources, and team coordination to achieve strategic objectives
- Strategic Planning and Tracking: Skilled in developing and maintaining detailed project plans and monitoring progress toward set goals
- Analytical and Critical Thinking: Capable of analyzing complex data and situations to make sound, strategic decisions
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficiency in leveraging data and metrics to inform and guide talent and organizational strategies
- Clear and Persuasive Communication: Strong ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, tailoring messages to various audiences
- Conflict Resolution and Mediation: Skilled in addressing and resolving conflicts to foster a collaborative and productive work environment
- Facilitation of Workshops and Meetings: Experienced in organizing and leading engaging workshops, trainings, and meetings that drive alignment and action
Required qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years experience as an organizational development specialist in a related industry
- Extensive knowledge of skills development and capacity-building strategies
- Advanced proficiency in Office and google software
- Exceptional interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent leadership and collaboration skills
- Superb analytical and time-management skills
