Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Global HR Integration Specialist Senior to join our team within Gallagher Benefit Services. Reporting to the Global HR Integration Strategy Leader, the successful candidate will play a critical role in executing and delivering people- and culture-related merger and acquisition (M&A) activities. This role requires a strong understanding of HR processes, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to obtain, organize, and communicate information relevant to the M&A.

How you'll make an impact

1. Assist in the execution of due diligence processes for potential M&A opportunities, including gathering and analyzing relevant data, financial statements, contracts, and other documents.
2. Support the development and implementation of comprehensive integration plans for mergers and acquisitions, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic, cultural, and people objectives.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, IT, legal, communications/change, compliance, and HR, to facilitate smooth integration processes.
4. Coordinate and participate in transition and integration meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between all stakeholders.
5. Contribute to the development and maintenance of global and country-specific integration playbooks, tools, and templates to streamline the integration process.
6. Monitor integration progress, following up on missing items with the appropriate individual(s) in a timely manner, identifying and reporting any issues or roadblocks to the Global HR Integration Strategy Leader.
7. Assist in managing integration activities, including monitoring performance metrics, gathering feedback and conducting reviews.
8. Provide regular updates and reports to the Global HR Integration Strategy Leader on the status of integration projects, proactively identifying any major risks or opportunities that require escalation.
9. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to M&A integration in the insurance sector.
10. Ensure adherence to local employment laws and regulations in all operating countries, identifying potential risks and assisting in developing mitigation strategies.
11. Support cross-cultural understanding and adapt HR practices to different regional contexts while maintaining Gallagher's core values.
12. Serve as technical or functional expert, training global colleagues on M&A and onboarding processes.
13. Typically works independently, receiving minimal guidance

About You

Required

1. Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in HR roles supporting HR programs and processes with a focus on project management and cross-functional collaboration.
3. Familiarity with M&A processes, preferably within the insurance industry or related financial services sector.
4. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
6. Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant tools.
7. Willingness to travel as required to support integration activities.
8. Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook plus prior experience completing transactions in HR Systems.
