Finance employees receive, account for, monitor, and design internal controls to safeguard sacred funds (donated confidentially in obedience to God's commandments) for the Church's religious mission under the direction of senior ecclesiastical leaders. Under the direction of the Church Budget Officer (who is appointed by the First Presidency), the Church Budget Office (CBO) is the support staff for the Council on the Disposition of the Tithes (CODT) and the Budget and Appropriations Committee (BAC). The purpose of the CBO is to provide the necessary information and transparency for the CODT and the BAC to make informed decisions regarding the use of Church financial resources.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deployment Lead to oversee the deployment phase of our global ERP transformation project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ERP systems, project management, and change management, with a proven track record of successful ERP deployments in a global setting.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Management:
    • Develop and manage detailed deployment plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of deployment activities with overall project goals.
    • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for deployment-related communications with stakeholders, including senior management, business units, and external partners.
    • Facilitate regular meetings and updates to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the deployment process.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of deployment specialists, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, encouraging continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Change Management:
    • Coordinate with the Change Management team to ensure change management strategies are developed and implemented to ensure smooth adoption of the new ERP system by end-users.
    • Coordinate with the Change Management team to conduct training sessions and create user documentation to support the transition to the new system.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure that all deployment activities adhere to established quality standards and best practices.
    • Conduct post-deployment reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
  • Technical Oversight:
    • Collaborate with IT and technical teams to ensure the successful configuration, testing, and integration of the ERP system.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the deployment process.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in ERP deployment or project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and their deployment methodologies.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a PMP or similar certification preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams in a global environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
