About the Role
  • Attend client, design, and construction meetings to manage the development of estimates during the design stage of projects.
  • Manage the development of bid documents required; the levelling of the returns to the bid documents; and development of ongoing estimates and value engineering exercises as required during the design period.
  • Review design members invoices and recommend payment as appropriate.
  • Attend on site requisition meetings to review the value of construction work completed.
  • Review final construction requisitions and recommend payment as appropriate.
  • Manage the review of all requested change orders, evaluate and make recommendations; finalizing of accounts and costs for projects; and the development of the monthly cost reports for clients during projects.
  • Perform contract review and development; lease review; industry budget benchmarking; and staff supervision and training.


Job Requirements

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent* in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a cost management-related occupation.

*In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, employer will accept 2 years of work experience in job offered or in a cost management-related occupation. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
