Senior Electrical Construction Estimator

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects, particularly in the electrical sector. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the financial success of projects by analyzing various factors that can impact costs and providing insightful recommendations.

Compensation: Up to $200,000 base pay DOE

Key Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications to understand the scope of work and requirements.
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical construction projects.
• Conduct thorough market research to determine material and labor costs.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather relevant information for estimates.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities in project cost estimates.
• Present estimates to stakeholders and adjust as necessary based on feedback.
• Maintain a database of historical cost data to improve future estimates.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an estimator in the construction industry, with a focus on electrical projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams and clients.
