As a Sr. Planner / Buyer you will play a key role in managing the supply chain organization, including procurement and planning and logistics functions to support the company infrastructure during growth.

As a Sr. Planner / Buyer you will play a key role in managing the supply chain organization, including procurement and planning and logistics functions to support the company infrastructure during growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Supply planning, purchasing, and inventory management function leader
- Development and day-to-day management of internal factory production scheduling to maximize utilization and meet output commitments
- Setup and maintenance of production Bills of Materials and process flows
- Vendor management, negotiations, contracting and evaluation
- Order placement and tracking
- Establishment and management of inventory plans and stocking levels
- Management of ERP purchasing, inventory and planning activities
- Management and development of MES tool for production tracking
- Cooperation with cross functional departments for material sourcing and development
- Reports directly to VP of Operations
Desired Qualifications and Key Personal Attributes
- BA/BS or equivalent in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business Administration
- 8+ years of experience in a Planning, Master Scheduling, or Supply Chain role in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience monitoring and improving supply chain and supplier performance, including the use of cost models and objective-based performance measures.
- Experience in Planning, Production Control, and Inventory Management.
- Pro-active approach to identifying supply gaps and production shortfalls and developing and implementing recovery plans
- Understanding of ERP/MRP processes and supply chain management
- Familiarity with MES software and process setup
- Analytical and results focused
- Team-first mentality
- Operate with high ethics and integrity and is non-political
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with diverse personalities, build effective relationships and interact appropriately and effectively at all levels
- Roll up your sleeves, do what it takes attitude, which is critical in a start-up environment
- Experience with Acumatica ERP a plus
- APICS certification preferred
