Cherokee Nation Strategic Programs is seeking a Senior Leader Engagements and Events Planning Analyst to provide engagement program and analysis subject matter expertise in directly support of senior level engagements and activities for the SC Division, J5 Director and Commander USCENTCOM.

Cherokee Nation Strategic Programs is seeking a Senior Leader Engagements and Events Planning Analyst to provide engagement program and analysis subject matter expertise in directly support of senior level engagements and activities for the SC Division, J5 Director and Commander USCENTCOM.

Senior Leader Engagements & Events Planning Analyst Responsibilities Include:
- Identify/ provide an analysis of CENTCOM equities in emerging national defense policies, interagency products, and directives for potential impacts to plans, programs and activities
- Track, monitor, and assess key leader engagements (KLE) between senior CENTCOM staff and partner nation leaders, primarily 2-Star, 3-Star, and 4-Star engagements
- Maintain KLE portal and KLE calendar, participate in working groups/communication SYNCHs, and supporting the development of KLE plans and assessments
- Develop political-military assessments, analysis and proposed plans of action to senior staff as directed on countries or topics of significant interest related to CENTCOM AOR
- Provide analysis of State Department cables, senior level engagement summaries, trip reports, and/or reviews of HHQ strategic guidance as required
- Support planning, development and execution of senior-level conferences or military-to-military engagements, includes Regional Ambassador's Conference, Chiefs of Defense Conferences, Combined Forces Command Conferences, Component Commander's Conferences, Security Cooperation Round Table, Foreign Area Ambassador's Conference and the Security Cooperation Working Group
- Assist in planning, development and execution of Pre-Deployment Site Surveys and visits to CONUS/ OCONUS locations to support Senior Level Engagement/Event Planning
- Evaluate and provide analysis of administrative, logistics, transportation, and security requirements to include completing conference approval packages, budget submissions
- Maintain the knowledge and skill to create, design, maintain or modify various SharePoint data collection sites for the SC Division and J5 Directorate
- Serve as Site Managers for multiple domains, classification levels, systems and sites
- Update/ maintain key data on the SC Portal, KLE Portal, J5 Conference Portal, etc to assist in data sharing and collaboration across the HQ Staff
- Assist users with gaining access and resolving issues to owned sites
- Coordinate with knowledge management and HQ staff to update/maintain owned sites
- Maintain knowledge and skill to participate in a variety of HQ Exercises and Battle Rhythm Events
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Senior Leader Engagements & Events Planning Analyst Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Active Top Secret security clearance
- Meet one of following:
- Demonstrated knowledge of DoD.
- Experience as a senior level professional on a multi-disciplinary team
- Certification in SC Planning, Oversight, and Execution Management is highly desired.
- Past applicable job experience may include, but is not limited to: [list]
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
- Master's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in a discipline applicable to the effort AND minimum of five (5) years of practical experience in the pertinent area(s) applicable to the effort involved.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in a discipline applicable to the effort AND minimum of ten (10) years of practical experience.
