Location: Hybrid, Bay Area - Current projects in Livermore and Soquel

Compensation: $90K-120K + Auto Allowance

Who We Are: We are a northern-California developer and general contractor working on projects in the $10M-$100M range with a special focus on senior living and multi-family work. We pride ourselves on sustainability and quality work.

Position Overview
The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in overseeing and coordinating various construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role is critical in maintaining project schedules, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and assisting with the management of project resources. This position will begin working on 1/3 of the time with our Soquel project and 2/3 of the time with our Livermore project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing projects from inception to completion.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Help manage project budgets and track expenses to avoid overruns.
  • Participate in project meetings and prepare documentation for project progress and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project.
  • Utilize project management software such as Procore and P6 to track progress and manage documentation.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years construction project management, particularly with MFH and Assisted-Living projects
  • 5+ years project engineering experience, 10+ years total GC experience.
  • Proficiency in project management software (Procore, P6) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, especially in multi-family and assisted living projects.
