Responsibilities
The System Nursing Clinical Informaticist provides guidance in the integration of clinical content, workflow, and
operational processes into the designated EHR system standard. The System Nursing Clinical Informaticist participates
with facility, system and project leadership to ensure successful adoption of new functionality for designated EHR system
and related applications. The System Nursing Clinical Informaticist provides expert analytical expertise to current
workflow processes and assists in the development of process and operational redesign recommendations leading to a
solution and/or functional system requirements.
This position will provide support to Penrose Hospital. This will require a combination of onsite and remote support. Applicants must reside in the Colorado Springs, CO area.

Qualifications
Required Education
- Bachelor's Degree required; in Nursing preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in a clinical setting
required - Minimum three (3) years of Informatics experience at a
regional or local level required
Required Licensure and Certifications
- Healthcare Clinical Licensure required (Nursing preferred)
- Epic certification required
- Clinical Informatics Certification preferred
Required Minimum Knowledge
- Extensive experience in Clinical and/or HealthCare
- Business Applications
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Skilled facilitator of virtual meetings
