Project Manager IV

We have a 6 month contract to hire for a Project Manager IV that has 7+ years of experience, PMO/portfolio management experience, and ServiceNow SPM experience. 100% Remote.

Must have requirements:

• 7+ years of Project Management experience
• 3+ years of PMO/portfolio Management experience
• 2+ years experience with ServiceNow SPM
• Bachelor's Degree

Nice to have:

• healthcare industry experience
• PMI PMP, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)

DISQUALIFIERS:

• lack of relevant project management, portfolio management experience and ServiceNow SPM

About this role:

• We are a corporate level support organization rolling out ServiceNow SPM capabilities to the enterprise. We manage ServiceNow improvement projects, but we are also the center of expertise for ServiceNow SPM capabilities responsible for the following.
• Alignment of ServiceNow SPM capabilities to strategic planning for IT services and applications in support of business needs
• Resource Management of IT resources across approved work across IT priorities. This includes forecasting, allocation to existing projects and work, and tracking of actual time to said work.
• Supporting financial forecasting and reporting
• This position reinforces the current team by providing additional subject leadership to cross functional department leads and stakeholders.
• The IT organization has made ServiceNow SPM a key part of the strategic planning and development toolset. This position will play a significant role in maturing that strategy. The experience learned during this effort will boost ServiceNow implementer and PMO support experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in stakeholder meetings to drive direction and strategy.
• Plan and manage delivery of ServiceNow SPM projects in support of the product roadmap
• Demonstrate and communicate ServiceNow capabilities
• Work with business analysts and developers to define requirements, communicate change, and test new functionality

Job Profile Summary
Position Purpose: Plan, organize, monitor, and oversee complex projects utilizing cross functional teams to deliver defined requirements and meet company strategic objectives around portfolio and project management using ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) products.
Assist in training and communication of ServiceNow SPM concepts and capabilities.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. 7+ years of project management experience with departmental specific projects. Implementation level experience with ServiceNow SPM functions including portfolio management, program/project management, resource management, time tracking, and financial budget planning / tracking.
Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff. Proficient with MS-Office applications.
License/Certification: ServiceNow CIS for SPM preferred. PMP certification preferred.
