Job Description

The Shopper Marketing Manager is responsible for all marketing touchpoints within our stores throughout the year, ensuring a compelling and seamless in-store experience. This role develops and executes shopper marketing strategies, promotional campaigns, and in-store activations that enhance brand visibility, increase conversion, and strengthen customer engagement. The ideal candidate is data-driven, innovative, and deeply understands how to influence consumer behavior in a retail environment.

Responsibilities
Shopper Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement annual shopper marketing plans aligned with company objectives, seasonal trends, and consumer insights.
- Lead execution of all in-store marketing initiatives, including point-of-sale (POS) displays, signage, digital screens, promotional materials, and experiential activations.
- Collaborate with merchandising, operations, and visual teams to ensure cohesive messaging and brand consistency across stores.
- Partner with brand and vendor partners to develop co-branded marketing programs and exclusive in-store promotions.

Retail Promotions & Campaigns
- Plan and manage marketing efforts for product launches, exclusive drops, seasonal promotions, and athlete-driven events.
- Drive in-store traffic through localized marketing efforts, including geo-targeted promotions and partnerships.
- Optimize marketing placement within stores to maximize visibility and sales impact.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase buy-online, pick-up in-store (BOPIS) engagement.

Customer Insights & Performance Analysis
- Analyze shopper behavior, sales data, and campaign performance to measure effectiveness and optimize future strategies.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of retail trends and evolving consumer preferences.
- Work with data analytics teams to refine targeting strategies for in-store promotions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the eCommerce, digital marketing, and social media teams to create an integrated omnichannel experience.
- Align with store managers and regional teams to ensure flawless execution of in-store marketing programs.
- Partner with external agencies and vendors for the design and production of marketing materials.

Qualifications

Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred. 7+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on omni-channel retail or consumer goods. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience preferred.

Physical Requirements - Work is typically performed in an office but projects may sometimes take the employee to a non-standard workplace; Requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards; Must have ability to lift small and carry parcels, packages and other items up to 25lbs, and walk short distances.
