Corporate Counsel

The ideal candidate will be responsible for in-house legal matters including drafting agreements, addressing compliance issues, and participating in negotiation discussions. In order to succeed, this candidate should feel comfortable working with in-house and outside counsel on a variety of legal matters.

Responsibilities:
Employee's job duties shall include all duties customary for a Corporate Counsel, including, but not limited to:

• Providing legal support to the various internal departments within the company.
• Drafting, reviewing and approving contracts, bylaws, and other legal documents, and implementing policies and procedures;
• Reviewing, researching, interpreting, and preparing both written and oral opinions on a wide variety of legal issues,
• Supervising legal work of other attorneys and outside counsel.
• Negotiating and drafting complex transactional agreements .
• Implementing policies and procedures to minimize liability and risk within the organization

Qualifications:

• J.D. qualified to practice law
• Significant corporate legal work experience
• dmission to FL Bar
