Brandt is currently seeking a Manager of our Engineered Services Team. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for recruiting, motivating and retaining some of the most highly trained and capable Geomatic Support personnel in the Positioning industry today. Working directly with our retail team, you will design and implement training strategies that will keep our customers and Brandt team members current and relevant in a changing technological landscape. Additionally, you will coordinate and facilitate sales and support programs to keep our customers and employees current with the best technology and workflows available today.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop business strategies and plans, policies, and procedures for the assigned area of responsibility
  • Provide direction to all direct reports in local and remote locations to facilitate the business objectives of the group
  • Develop and maintain training and offerings to customers to ensure our customers are productive and profitable
  • Develop scalable business strategy for integration of BTL resources including programs and work instructions
  • Responsible for the development and delivery of training programs for staff and customers
  • Develop relationships with other Topcon dealers to discuss customer service and support concerns and strategies
  • Travel to visit direct reports at remote locations at least quarterly to ensure business plan objectives, policies, and procedures are being met and to provide coaching and mentoring one on one
  • Travel to visit PTD sales teams at regional branch locations at least quarterly to ensure customer expectations are being met and to develop strategies to improve service offerings to customers
  • Travel to visit key customers within the PTD footprint to discuss customer support expectations and understand their current needs and wants
  • Travel to visit Topcon business unit to understand ensure customer support and training alignment, provide feedback, and develop strategies for new product information and adoption
  • Travel to and attend trade shows and events as required to stay current with technological developments and service offerings from suppliers and competitors
  • Work with BTL marketing and communications teams to develop marketing strategies for Engineered Services
  • Support PTD technology demo programs with the appropriate assignment of PTD ES staff

Required Skills

  • Must have a background in Positioning Technology hardware and software
  • Must have background in managing people, both remotely and locally
  • Must have at least 5 years' experience leading diverse teams in successfully meeting business objectives
  • Strong customer service-based focus is required
  • Must have a degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary educational institute
  • Excellent management, organizational, facilitation, and team collaboration skills
  • Excellent presentation skills, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions in the moment
  • Comfort with ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability
  • Strong team leadership skills
  • Strong knowledge of business objectives
