Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts
as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.
Education and Experience Required:
Typically, a First Level University degree in Technical Communications, Computer Science
or related technical/communications fi eld and a minimum of 6+ years related experience or an Advanced University degree and a minimum of 4-6 years experience, or equivalent.
Knowledge of and ability to utilize a variety of tools and technologies to support multiple
technologies.
Represents company in professional associations, e.g., STC, ASM-SIGDOC, IEEE,
technology standards committees such as DocBook Standards Committee.
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge expert for multiple products within a technology.
Creates information strategy for a technology
