Please provide candidates for the following REQ. The term of the residency is planned for 5 years. This is a long term opportunity.

  • Job Scope Details - Break-fix, day to day monitoring of 6500 PowerEdge servers
    Dell PowerEdge troubleshooting, support in problem identification and resolution, and initiating technical support with Dell support.
    o Support Dell PowerEdge C6525 servers
    iDRAC
    o Red Hat/CentOS Linux Operating system
    o Nice to have Cisco and Arista switches expertise
    Coordination with technicians from external service providers and vendors for installation, repairs, and upgrades.
    Reports support and/or maintenance issues to Customer
  • Onsite M-F 8-5.
  • Duration 5 Years
  • 1) The onsite engineer will be "resident engineer which means he/she will work daily at the datacenter at 8x5 (not including customer or Dell holidays, vacations, or if they have to be offsite to get parts,.)
  • 2) The engineer will also be responsible for logging all support cases. Customer will not log support cases.
  • 3) Parts locker is onsite
