Description:
Certified by the American Boards of Radiology. A radiation oncologist studies and manages diseases, especially malignant tumors and radiological treatments of abnormal tissue, through the use of X-rays or radionuclides.
Practices medicine within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center. Provides patient care under the auspices of Moffitt Medical Group, and serves as member of the academic medical enterprise; advancing the institutional misson of contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer. The position may span the clinical and research enterprise, and supports patient care, research, and education.
Works closely with medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, palliative care physicians, APPs and nurse as part of a patient care team. Also works closely with radiation oncology medical physicists, dosimetrists and radiation therapists to plan and deliver radiotherapy.

Requirements:
- MD/DO or equivalent
- Florida license eligible
- Board certified/ eligible in Radiation Oncology (board certification preferred).
- ACLS as required by privileges granted through Medical Staff
- DEA License
