As a Sr Advanced Software Engineer within our (BA) BuildingAutomation business unit, specifically within the Fire Software team, you willbe a key contributor to the development of development, testing and automation of software solutionsfor commercial fire safety and protection.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in productdesign, development, testing, and automation to create and enhance innovativefire safety solutions. Your focus will be on developing systems that ensure thehighest levels of safety, reliability, and functionality.
Key Responsibilities

• IOT Solutions:
  • Drive the integration of IoT technologies into fire safety software solutions, improving connectivity, functionality, and overall user experience. Deeper expertise on IOT protocals
• Product Design and Development:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop cutting-edge fire safety software products. You will define product specifications and ensure that designs adhere to industry standards and customer requirements.
• System Test Automation:
  • Develop and implement automated testing strategies to enhance productreliability and performance. Utilize software solutions and APIs to buildefficient testing frameworks.
• Scale Handling:
  • Design and optimize solutions that can effectively manage large-scale systems,ensuring they are efficient and robust across diverse operational environments.
• Product Mindset:
  • Maintain a customer-centric approach throughout the product lifecycle.Continuously innovate and iterate based on user feedback to enhance productcapabilities and responsiveness to market needs.
• Embedded Systems Knowledge:
  • Apply your embedded systems knowledge to support product design andtroubleshooting, ensuring seamless integration between hardware and softwarecomponents.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in software product design, development, and automation
• Strong technical expertise in software solutions.
• Proficiency in system development, test automation and software development methodologies.
• Experience with API development and automationin the context of product testing and development.
• Solidunderstanding of IoT solutions and their applications.
• Demonstratedexperience in scaling systems effectively.

• Previousexperience in a fast-paced software development environment will be highlyadvantageous.
• Familiarity within building automation, fire safety or related domains is of value
