Summary
Responsible for the preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of medications used throughout the facility. The pharmacy intern is expected to sustain an environment for the safe, rational, effective, and efficient use of medications prescribed to patients of all age groups. All job functions of the pharmacy intern are performed under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. All job duties shall be performed in accordance with all applicable State and Federal laws, DNV, and professional practice standards, and policies and procedures of the health system/pharmacy department.
