Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented US Ticket and Hospitality Sales Manager to join our Global Ticketing and Hospitality Sales team. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for selling corporate ticket packages, local hospitality programs, local event sponsorship activations and bespoke experience programs. The success of this
candidate will be judged on the volume of annual tickets sold and revenue generated across races in North America. The candidate will be tasked with developing sales collateral and scaling regional pipelines of ticket purchasers across industries, including an expectation of travel with multiple trips to future race cities to build local ticket sales demand across regional businesses, tourism boards, clubs and community organizations, etc.
The ideal candidate is a natural sales person, with the ability to develop new relationships and positively represent SailGP to key stakeholders nationally. The role will report directly to the Director of Global Ticketing and Hospitality Revenue, accountable for supporting active reporting (total sales, pipeline status, etc).
Must be able to work collaboratively with teams across marketing, operations, and event design teams to define and create assets as needed. A background in hospitality sales and premium experiences is required.

Essential Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through various lead generation methods
- Create compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to meet the needs of corporate prospects
- Manage negotiations with key clients, closing deals while maximizing revenue and meeting targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and high-value clients to ensure renewals
- Continuously monitor ticket and hospitality sales trends, competitor offerings, and market demands
- Work closely with SailGP's US Marketing Team to build targeted campaigns that promote opportunities
- Ensure that all delivery of contracts are seamlessly transitioned and set up for event-day success
- Travel to meetings, conferences, and events as needed to drive opportunities forward

About You
- Proven sales experience, ideally in ticket sales, hospitality, or within the sports industry
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills to effectively build and present sales proposals
- Experience in managing high-value clients, including sponsors, corporate partners, and VIPs
- Ability to confidently negotiate contracts and close sales while maximizing revenue
- Proficiency with CRM tools and other software to track performance and manage leads
- Experience working with event teams or managing live event sales
- Ability to work collaboratively with marketing, event, and sponsorship teams to drive sales efforts
- Talent in distilling complex information into simple, memorable terms
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage various projects
- Positive, curious, inventive and resourceful, with a strong work ethic
