This role is based at our home office in the Fulton Market area. It requires in-office attendance 4 to 5 days per week and travel up to 50%.
The salary for this role is $95K - $110K annually plus bonus, and will not have any direct reports.

Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries in compliance with GAAP and our procedures.
- Review journal entries with proper documentation and approval
- Prepare monthly reconciliations for bank accounts and all balance sheet accounts, maintain clean supporting documentation for all reconciliations
- Analyze property-level activity, financial reports, and trends to identify and correct irregularities, detect fraud, and accurately represent the property's operational and financial position.
- Engage with property and asset management teams to analyze period financial performance.
- Participate in the annual operating budget process and period reforecasts through supporting analysis and compilation.
- Monitor cash for each property to anticipate future cash requirements and mitigate risk.
- Support coordinating and preparing assigned information for monthly and annual reporting and external audits.
- Help with multiple projects and ad hoc analyses, perform tasks of other accountants
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or relevant experience
- At least 5 years of progressive construction and/or capital project management experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer, or at least 5 years of industry-related experience with demonstrated expertise and leadership in estimating, scheduling, budget/cost control, field management, financial reporting, and client relationships
- Background in project delivery and project management
- Experience presenting to varying levels of company partners
- Experience in basic computer applications and software programs, Procore, and Profiler, in addition to Excel and MS Project experience
- Can safely navigate conditions at a construction site, including climbing ladders, cluttered areas, working in bad weather, hazardous areas, dark conditions, and maneuvering uneven surfaces to inspect progress
