Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to oversee payroll processing and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage payroll-related tasks while maintaining confidentiality. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in payroll systems and regulatory compliance.Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in payroll processing, with manual payroll experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems and HRIS software; experience with Paylocity is a plus.
• Familiarity with U.S. and Canadian payroll tax regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Preferred Skills

• Payroll or benefits certifications (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS)).
• Experience overseeing full-cycle payroll processes independently.
• Prior experience in benefits administration, including compliance with regulatory requirements.

Compensation: $85,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
