If so, we are looking for a driven, customer-oriented, and experienced Senior Recruiter to join our collaborative and innovative Employment Team responsible for recruitment and selection. The Employment Team is dedicated to advancing the mission of the City of Seattle and SPU by facilitating an equitable recruitment and screening process resulting in a diverse and inclusive work force.
About the opportunity: The role is responsible for sourcing actively, maintaining a strong pipeline and network of qualified talent, utilizing a variety of methods and techniques. You will serve as a trusted advisor and partner providing full-cycle recruitment and technical services to address complex operational and strategic recruitment, selection, and staffing needs. Additionally, there'll be opportunities to actively participate in Citywide employment and Race and Social Justice Initiatives. This position reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager

Qualifications
Experience: Two (2) years of professional experience in recruitment, community outreach, human resources, or related field.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related field OR two (2) additional years of relevant experience.

Additional Information
This position allows for the flexibility of hybrid work schedule. Employees will be required to come into the office three days a week. Individual schedule will be agreed upon by the employee and their supervisor.

The full salary range for this position is $45.74 - $53.27 per hour.

Job Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a large talent database network of promising experts by collecting information from variety of sources including LinkedIn, professional associations, diverse organizations, portfolio sites, and networking.
- Source and engage passive candidates and gauge candidate skills sets against open roles.
- Stay informed of industry trends, competitive employment landscape, market intelligence, and innovative recruitment techniques.
- Utilize online applicant tracking system (NEOGOV) to craft job announcements, create time sensitive recruitment plans, recruit and promote, screen applications, and iterative steps working in collaboration with hiring managers and HR colleagues.
- Responsible for the full life cycle recruiting process, including working with hiring managers to determine job requirements, sourcing appropriate candidates, screening, coordinating and conducting interviews (i.e., working tests, in-person/virtual interviews, etc.).
- Ensure the integrity of the recruitment process is maintained and staffing practices are consistent with City and Department initiatives, legal requirements, and meet business priorities.
- Participate in in-person and virtual job fairs, outreach, and recruitment events.

- Collaborative attitude with the ability to build strong partnerships with internal/external stakeholders, diverse candidates, and employees at all levels.
- Demonstrated excellence in written/oral communication skills.
