What You Will Be Doing

The successful Proposal Integrator candidate will work the entire spectrum of Aeronautics Sustainment Operations proposal activities, supporting business capture through the campaign, proposal, and contract award process. The candidate will also support post-award program execution tasks through horizontal integration across the Sustainment capabilities, serving as a technical liaison between Sustainment Operations and Program Management.
This high visibility position will be in direct support of Marietta, Georgia based Air Mobility and Maritime Missions (AMMM) Sustainment proposal and campaign efforts. This position is responsible understanding AMMM potential business from campaigns and proposals that contain Sustainment efforts plus ongoing knowledge of current contracts under execution. This position will have responsibility for the accuracy of the proposed efforts and its demands on sustainment resources. This position will assist in development of campaign and proposal metrics, databases of past efforts, and working with the Sustainment Capabilities on estimates of the future.
On the business capture front, the candidate will work with a highly integrated team of sales and technical professionals, as well as cross-functional disciplines, to provide Sustainment Operations input in support of achieving sales growth objectives with both U.S. Government, international military operators, and system original equipment manufacturers. Sustainment personnel will support business development in developing value propositions centered on logistics, distribution, repair, and technical solutions that impact warfighter readiness. They will have a demonstrated ability to translate the results of value proposition development into winning proposal and capture efforts. This role coordinates directly with the lead for AMMM new business, AMMM Sustainment Integration Office, Advanced Development Programs and across the Sustainment Operations functional capability teams while developing, promoting, and marketing Lockheed Martin Sustainment solutions worldwide.
On the Sustainment proposal integration front, the candidate will provide horizontal integration across the Sustainment Capabilities for all Sustainment proposal activities across Lockheed Martin Aeronautics lines of business. The candidate for this position will work closely with the Sustainment Capabilities, Contracts and Program Management teams to ensure Sustainment proposal inputs comply with contractual obligations and statements of work. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high quality Sustainment Operations proposal inputs are submitted on-time to meet proposal submittal deadlines. The candidate will prepare and deliver recurring status and metrics reporting on Sustainment proposal activity to Sustainment leadership. This role is responsible for ensuring Sustainment leadership is kept informed on issues possibly effecting the delivery of a successful Sustainment bid, elevating the issues for leadership assistance in a timely manner to increase the likelihood of a successful outcome at contract award.

Occasional domestic travel may be required.

Basic Qualifications

Familiarity with project management skillset

Familiarity with sustainment elements, core competencies, experience with Basis of Estimate development and overall proposal process, and/or knowledge of performance-based logistics.

Ability of foster partnerships across multiple functions and stakeholders, and leverage horizontal integration skills to yield enterprise-level results

Desired skills

Holds a bachelor's degree in a related field

Prior experience in campaign or proposal management
Strategic thinker with knowledge of business and financial operations

Knowledge of Supply Operations or Logistics is a plus

Cost Account Manager or Earned Value Management knowledge

Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work independently with limited oversight and supervision

Strong organizational, time management and planning skills, along with high level of attention to detail

US military service and/or experience in the aviation industry a plus

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $67,000 - $117,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
