Salary Range
$80,000.00 - $95,000.00
A successful applicant's actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual's skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role. What You'll Do
25% - Planning & Negotiation
- Develop and present strategically focused plans and recommendations, in collaboration with OOH Sr. Strategist/Associate Director
- Write department POVs on new opportunities and seek new trends and opportunities within the industry
- Oversee the stewardship of OOH media plans from inception through completion
- Participate in potential market rides when available
- Negotiate OOH media buys and teach negotiation strategies and tactics to Strategist and Sr. Strategist on team
10% - Account Maintenance
- Cross check plans and all supporting documents for accuracy (billing, specs, contracts, etc.)
- Keep track of team deadlines and deliverables, ensuring a consistent workflow
- Ensure client documents (decks, POP & POVs) are clear, concise and client ready
- Maintain a thorough understanding of account/client nuances
- Expected to be well-versed in OOH production processes
10% - Relationship Development
- Act as a liaison between Business Solutions, vendors and internal team
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of available vendors and media formats in markets relevant to assigned client(s)
- Attend vendor meetings and presentations, participate as an active stakeholder on behalf of your clients
- Manage ongoing communication with senior leads, effectively relay issues and/or status updates in a timely matter
5% - Training & Development
- Stay current with the evolving landscape and on the advances in technology, innovation, digital OOH area, measurement and research as the industry advances forward
- Continue to advance knowledge and learn about the media industry, Horizon Media, and our clients
- Participate in Horizon's training programs, as well as other syndicated and proprietary training sessions (i.e. Leaders Voice, Presentation Skills, and more)
20% - Strategy
- Be an active participant on behalf of your clients in strategy development and brainstorming meetings
- Collaborate with OOH vendors to bring innovative, engaging, and creative ideas to clients
- Educate Business Solutions on status, processes, and new developments in the OOH space
- Ensuring overall recommendations hit client strategy, objectives and goals
30% - Supervision & Mentorship
- Ensuring overall media buys are entered correctly and in a timely manner
- Manage team bandwidth, delegate assignments, projects and tasks to maintain productivity and meet deadlines
- Provide education on best practices, media principles, and industry at large
- Participate in interview process for junior team member roles

Preferred Skills & Experience
- BA/BS Degree or relevant work experience
- 4-5 years media planning and buying experience
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong understanding of media planning terms and concepts such as GRPs, ROI, reach and frequency
- Strong understanding of Geopath measurement methodology as well as various other available media research tools and studies available
- Proficiency working within Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
