Description:

Seeking a senior-level Software Architect for the design, development, and optimization of complex software applications and systems. This role requires deep expertise in full life cycle development, engineering, and programming, as well as a strong ability to conduct system integration and compatibility analysis across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will provide strategic recommendations for architectural improvements to enhance the organization's technical environment, ensuring scalability and system performance.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Job Responsibilities:
Lead architectural planning, design, and implementation for complex software systems, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Conduct feasibility analyses for potential projects, evaluating technical requirements and recommending system modifications to improve overall performance.
Serve as the top-level technical expert for issues related to systems integration, platform compatibility, and multi-platform operations.
Provide guidance on best practices for full life cycle development, including engineering, programming, and analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration, compatibility, and optimization of software solutions.
Continuously assess the technical environment and propose architectural changes to maintain system efficiency and alignment with evolving needs.

Required Skills and Experience:
Ability to design and implement IT solutions and systems in accordance with the five pillars of Zero Trust Architecture as defined in OMB M-22-09.
Advanced technical knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in all phases of full life cycle application and system development.
Familiarity and understanding of the following Desktop Platforms - Windows 11, Linux/Devuan,
Familiarity and understanding of the following Application Server Platforms - Oracle Fusion Middleware 12.2 (Webcache/WebLogic), Internet Information Services (IIS)8.5, SharePoint Server 2016/2019, Apache httpd 2.4, Tomcat 9/10.
Expertise in systems integration and multi-platform compatibility, with a deep understanding of architecture design and optimization.
Proven experience conducting feasibility analyses and recommending technical improvements for system performance.
Proficient in a wide range of programming languages, development tools, and database management systems.
Strong problem-solving abilities, with a strategic approach to optimizing technical environments and system architecture.
Proven ability to work independently on complex projects and to mentor junior team members
Experience in preparing and delivering detailed reports and presentations.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance

Education:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline from an accredited university.
Fifteen (15) years of experience in design, writing, and testing of computer programs or database development.
Seven (7) years of experience in software systems architecture.
