SUMMARY: The physician will provide nephrology services for Alameda Health System, under employment from Alameda Health Medical Group. Services will be on-site at Highland Hospital.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) is required.
Required: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Nephrology.
Required Licenses/Certifications: Possession of a valid license to practice medicine in the State of California.
Valid DEA license.

Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope Nephrology care in our outpatient clinics at Highland Hospital and outreach clinics; as well as as part of the inpatient consult service.
- Didactic education to Internal Medicine Residents.
- Provide care to Nephrology patients using a collaborative, team model of care characterized by supportive physician/APP/staff interaction.
- Call schedule: 1 in 6, each being a 12 hour call.
- Provide dialysis care in the outpatient setting.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Chief of Nephrology or their designee.
