SAP Master Data Analyst

The SAP Material Master Data Analyst will be responsible for understanding how data should be created, maintained, and utilized within the new SAP S/4Hana System to meet the key needs of internal stakeholders such as procurement, operations, and IT. This role will support stakeholders by analyzing, validating, and presenting data to drive business results.

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, information technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Master Data, BoM, and documentation creation/maintenance in an MRP/SAP environment.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and methodologies.
• In-depth understanding of materials management and inventory management processes, systems, and methodologies (e.g., MRP, Planning, and Reorder Points).
• Strong ability to analyze large datasets, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and well-organized documents.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in material master records and maintaining accurate data.
• Ability to multitask, manage time, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Proficient in SAP Material Master data management.

Function

• Facilitate and oversee data cleansing activities by performing duplicate record removal, standardization, and validation of data within SAP.
• Identify and correct inconsistencies, duplicates, and errors within the material master data in SAP.
• Generate, extract, and analyze reports related to material master data to support business decisions.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure alignment in business processes.
• Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and address data quality concerns.
• Resolve data-related issues and discrepancies by providing timely support and solutions to minimize business impact.
• Work closely with the Information Technology Department to gather and define workflow requirements.
• Identify and drive improvements in material master data processes, utilizing SAP S/4Hana functionalities to streamline operations and enhance data management.

$50 - $60 an hour
