Description:

The Manager Research Applications will be responsible for all application life cycle activities starting with initiation through requirements gathering, proposal development, vendor evaluation, governance and approval as well as subsequent planning, configuration, build, integration, test, release, training, support and final retirement. Will collaborate with business customers and other IT stakeholders to promote effective use of systems and technology across all supported application areas. Sets goals, manages assigned staff, provides leadership, mentoring and guidance to ensure the team's success and strives for superior employee engagement and customer satisfaction.

Education

Bachelors Degree : in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, or related field (Required)

Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience

5 Years experience in information services and technology, with at least 1 year in a management or lead role in a service-oriented setting requiring customer interaction (Required)

3 Years experience working with processes, technologies and solutions (i.e. clinical research, clinical trials management system, Institutional Review Board, Grants Administration, Document Management and Capture) (Required)

3 Years experience with application lifecycle tools and methodology, system configuration, design, implementation and support (Required)

General Experience in managing and supporting applications in a healthcare environment (Preferred)
