Quality Engineer (Camarillo, CA)

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the aerospace industry, with proven experience in AS9100 registration audits, corrective actions, and quality management systems. This role will ensure our products and processes meet the highest standards of quality and compliance, supporting our mission to excel in the aerospace sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in AS9100 registration audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and procedures.
• Identify root causes of quality issues and develop effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance quality assurance practices throughout the product lifecycle.
• Analyze data and generate reports to track quality performance metrics.
• Conduct supplier quality assessments and work closely with vendors to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Provide training and support to team members on quality standards and best practices.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and regulations to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
• Extensive knowledge of AS9100 standards and experience leading registration audits.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in quality management tools and software.
