Our firm is seeking an experienced litigation attorney who is adept at handling a caseload of private clients with issues relating to real estate fraud, mortgage transactions, residential and commercial leases, quiet title and partition actions, and more. Successful applicants must be familiar with all aspects of pre-trial and trial procedures, particularly drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and working toward resolution of cases both in court and out of court. Responsibilities
Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal statutes and applicable laws
Attend court hearings on behalf of clients and argue motions
Prepare for and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration hearings
Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
Counsel associates to resolve or prevent conflicts
Qualifications
Four-year bachelor's degree and successful completion of law school from an accredited law school
Excellent time management and interpersonal skills are required, as well as persuasive writing and verbal communication skills
Applicants must have trial, mediation, and arbitration representation experience
Member of state and local bar associations in good standing
Able to work independently while handling multiple files
Five years of experience as a senior associate in the legal industry
