Description
Rinker Design Associates, LLC, is seeking a Human Resources Manager in the Manassas, Virginia office, who is a dynamic, forward-thinking leader responsible for all areas of the talent life cycle. This role encompasses a multifaceted set of HR responsibilities including the administration of Human Resources policies, programs, and practices, benefits administration, serve as the primary point of contact for all HR-related inquiries and employee relations issues, as well as oversight of the recruitment team.
The HR Manager position will be involved with new company integrations, the planning and execution of talent strategies and retention programs, workforce planning, and will be a key business partner on the leadership team. This role will work closely with the VP of Talent Management for the platform.

The HR Manager position will be involved with new company integrations, the planning and execution of talent strategies and retention programs, workforce planning, and will be a key business partner on the leadership team. Key Responsibilities
Talent Management & Employee Relations:
- Develop and implement talent acquisition and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Implement and oversee performance management processes, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Identify and address skills gaps and provide learning and development opportunities for employees.
- Address employee relations matters, offering support and guidance to managers and employees
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Oversee benefits administration and leave management, ensuring employees have access to necessary resources.
- Maintain accurate HR records, including payroll support, compliance documentation, and employee files.
- Provide HR reporting and analytics to help inform business decisions.
Employee Engagement & Culture:
- Champion company culture by fostering an inclusive and high-performance work environment.
- Support the implementation of employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and wellness efforts.
- Serve as a resource for employees, ensuring open communication and a positive workplace experience.
HR Strategy & Business Partnership:
- Act as an advisor to managers and employees, offering HR guidance and best practices.
- Partner with leadership to support workforce planning and organizational development.
- Drive process improvements in HR operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in HR leadership roles, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, HR compliance, and best practices.
- Ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and advise leaders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- A problem-solver who is proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable challenging the status quo and driving process improvements.
