Plans, manages, and coordinates multifaceted program activities and personnel of the functional application support team (FASTeam); manages human resources (HR) technology projects; implements business processes that support the implementation, development, and maintenance of technical systems and applications; provides professional development; manages procurement, inventory, and budget tracking; exercises leadership to design, implement, assess, and revise programs or activities of the section.

Qualifications

Required
  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, public administration, or related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience in information technology management and support, some of which shall have been in a supervisory or leadership role.
    • Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
  • Knowledge of theories, procedures, practices, materials, methods, regulations, and/or legislation related to the section or office assigned.
  • Ability to manage and supervise program activities and personnel.
  • Knowledge of school organization, mission, and the requirements for the assigned function to accomplish the mission.
  • Ability to manage, evaluate, and supervise program activities and personnel.
  • Ability to effectively lead teams in multiple projects.
  • Ability to maintain working relationships with school, county, and outside agency personnel.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups.
  • Proficiency in the use of technology, data compilation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
