Position Overview:
The SR. HR Business Partner will report directly to the HR Director. This position will be responsible for driving HR strategies and initiatives that align with the retail business objectives, ensuring a positive employee experience, and supporting the overall growth and success of our retail operations. The Sr HRBP will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing strategic HR support across multiple retail locations, and will lead key HR processes, including talent management, employee relations, workforce planning, organizational development, and performance management.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure strategies of the business are supported with resources and HR programs to create a unique Kendra Scott advantage.
  • Support decision making to ensure people implications of business decisions are known, well thought out, addressed and communicated.
  • Develop a consultative role with managers to encourage the development & retention of top talent
  • Foster core pillars and ensure sustainment of company culture during period of high growth.
  • Promote continuous feedback and encourage iterative improvement to optimize company performance and ensure alignment towards company goals.
  • Support and coach managers through employee relations resolutions
  • Proactive identification and resolution of engagement issues, business needs, staffing & resource needs, misalignment, communication & process gaps through relationships, store visits, satisfaction surveys, new hire check-ins and exit feedback
  • Partner with managers on action planning based on incoming feedback
  • Partner with HR functional teams, support teams and business units to communicate needs and discuss potential solutions
  • Partner with HR functional teams and business operations teams to facilitate execution of solutions
  • Travel to markets to foster relationships and gather feedback
  • Follow up on leadership training to ensure successful execution and coach through individual scenarios/challenges
  • Conduct employee relations investigations
  • Proactively manage risk; ensure compliance with company guidelines and governmental regulations
  • Up to 25% travel required

Our Ideal Candidate will have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification
  • 7+ years' experience as a HR Business Partner or Senior Generalist for a high-growth retail company
  • A proven ability to break down larger initiatives into consumable achievable tasks to achieve departmental and company objectives
  • Self-motivated with ability to work well in fast paced retail environment
  • Ability to clearly articulate plans and ensure team is aligned
  • A solutions-oriented mentality with a data driven approach
  • High level of discretion required
  • A growth mindset: track record of leveraging past learnings, encouraging new ideas and smart risk taking in self and others
  • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build cross functional partnerships to make effective decisions collaboratively
