Who We're Looking For:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Regional Commercial Property Manager to oversee multiple properties within our portfolio. This role requires a customer service-focused professional who is highly organized, solution-oriented, and committed to maintaining the high standards we provide for our clients. You will partner with on-site property managers to provide expert oversight of commercial buildings in: Rancho Cucamonga, Fullerton, La Mirada, Brea, Santa Fe Springs and San Dimas, managing approximately 725,000+ square feet of commercial space while fostering strong tenant relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
This position oversees all aspects of property operations. You will be responsible for tenant relations, lease administration, renewals, and ensuring compliance with commercial lease agreements. Additionally, you will lead marketing efforts, track vacancies, and manage financial reporting, including budget preparation and expense control. Responsibilities include ensuring the efficient management of building systems, security, janitorial services, landscaping, and parking.
A key aspect of this role is directing capital and tenant improvement projects, including vendor selection, bid approvals, and construction oversight. You will also assist in preparing and overseeing annual operating budgets, CAM reconciliations, and monthly financial reports. The role requires handling administrative and accounting functions such as accounts payable/receivable, rent rolls, insurance compliance, and collections, as well as representing the company in small claims court and legal proceedings when necessary. Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations while providing leadership and guidance to on-site teams is essential to success in this position.
What You'll Bring:
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in business, real estate, or a related field, along with five to seven years of experience in commercial real estate management. A Certified Property Manager (CPM) certification is required. Strong technical skills are essential, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Yardi software. Industry expertise in managing multi-tenant office, industrial, and warehouse properties, including lease negotiations and financial reporting, is also required.
A valid California driver's license and insurance are required, as well as the ability to use a personal vehicle for local travel, with mileage reimbursement. The position also requires availability for after-hours emergencies. Candidates should demonstrate strong judgment, discretion, integrity, time management, and organizational abilities. The ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and providing excellent leadership to on-site teams is critical to success in this role.
