Job Purpose

The Sr. Clinical Program Manager role will report to the Vice President of Clinical Services and will be responsible for clinical aspects of Welldoc's product line, including expanding our GLP-1 programs and AI-based initiatives. In collaboration with internal functional leaders and scientific subject matter experts, the clinical program manager will integrate scientific and business priorities to enhance the user experience and drive effective execution of deliverables. The ideal candidate is a strong, multifaceted individual that is passionate about digital health's ability to improve the end user's condition management and overall well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Create mobile and digital health products across multiple cardiometabolic conditions such as weight management, diabetes, hypertension, and obstructive sleep apnea in collaboration with marketing, product, UX, data science, regulatory, quality, and engineering teams.
  • Design and develop mobile and digital health user-facing content to support various health conditions.
  • Develop concepts for features that are clinically sound and improve the user experience.
  • Proactively engage cross-functional stakeholder to ensure successful program outcomes.
  • Serve as the clinical point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
  • Gather inputs from scientific advisors and stay abreast of industry updates, clinical evidence, and competitor products in order to contribute to departmental strategic planning and roadmap planning activities.
  • Serves as a trusted adviser who can be called upon at any moment to provide support and project insight.
  • Contribute throughout project lifecycles, from initial clinical concepts to requirements, content, design, to risk assessment and testing, and final delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, internally and/or externally, and share learnings within functional group, core team, or full company meetings as appropriate.
  • Continually research tools and methods to optimize efficiency.
  • Be a role model: inspire team members to achieve ambitious goals, provide feedback and mentorship to drive high performance, build trust and respect across the team and its members, model corporate culture behaviors and support team members.

Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, diabetes preferred.
Preferred: 3+ years of industry experience or relevant work (scientific, pharma, med device, payor, or healthcare fields) experience
Preferred: Content writing experience, particularly for mobile apps
Preferred: Experience working with diabetes or weight loss patients or clinicians, with an understanding of health behavior change principles in relation to digital health.
Demonstrated understanding of GLP-1 and incretin medications.
Basic understanding and interest in use of artificial intelligence. Experience preferred.
Basic understanding of the development of digital health products. Experience preferred.
Understanding of how people manage chronic illnesses, with awareness of health behavior change principles.
Enjoys learning and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, overcoming obstacles, and aligning stakeholders to realize project and task delivery success
Experience working in a highly collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Flexible and able to take constructive feedback.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team-based environment.
Demonstrated ability to work on concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
Experience with HTML, Adobe Acrobat, Confluence, JIRA, Contentful, Teams a plus

WellDoc operates in ISO 13485 and MDSAP regulated and HITRUST compliant environments. Therefore, it is expected that all employees will have either prior experience working in those environments or, will be trained to understand the requirements needed to work and support those requirements and culture as they relate to individual roles and responsibilities.

Required Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in dietetics, nursing, public health, or related healthcare or science field.
  • Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist preferred


Compensation & Benefits

Welldoc offers a competitive compensation package which, in addition to salary, includes generous PTO, medical insurance, dental insurance, vision care, life and disability insurance, retirement benefits and the opportunity to participate in health savings accounts and/or dependent care accounts. The anticipated salary range for this position is 110-150K/year with the expectation that most candidates will fall around the midpoint of the range. Candidates who exceed the required and preferred qualifications may be considered for an annual salary in excess of the budgeted range.

Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment, you may be required to complete and clear a multi-panel drug screening process. This screening is in connection with requirements set by certain of the Company's customers, with which you may be working in this role, and will at all times be administered under applicable laws.
