Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Job Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day Shift; Monday-Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours:

Experience: Minimum 2 years

License: Licensed Speech Therapist in Kentucky

Certifications: BLS

Must-Have:
- Pediatric outpatient experience
- Inpatient swallowing experience
- Experience with modified barium swallow

Job Description:
- Work primarily on the day shift, Monday through Friday, with hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Possibility for on-call responsibilities if no speech coverage is available (approximately 2 weeks), specifically for stroke evaluations
- Engage with both pediatric and adult patients in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Conduct assessments and therapeutic sessions related to speech and language disorders
- Perform and interpret modified barium swallow studies
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and progress
