The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling skills, deep business acumen, and the ability to influence senior leadership through insightful analysis and recommendations.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to partner closely with cross-functional leaders, providing impactful financial insights that guide strategic decisions across the organization. This is a high-visibility position offering broad exposure to critical financial and business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Drive and optimize annual, quarterly, and monthly management reporting of financial performance
- Business Analysis: Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and key metrics to inform decision-making and track business performance
- Financial Modeling: Create ad-hoc financial models and to support scenario analysis, strategic planning, and pro-forma analysis
- Business Partnering: Serve as a finance business partner to G&A leadership, providing budget oversight, financial planning, and strategic insights for Finance, Legal, HR, IT, and Facilities teams
- Cash Flow Forecasting: Partner with Treasury to forecast cash flow and identify working capital optimization opportunities
- Benchmarking and Competitive Analysis: Lead external benchmarking processes and competitive analysis to evaluate A10's performance in the context of industry standards, identifying opportunities to enhance our financial positioning
- Investor Relations: Support investor relations activities, manage external metrics, and maintain analyst consensus file
- Revenue Forecasting: Partner with GTM finance on certain aspects of revenue forecasting, ensuring alignment with business goals
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; CPA or MBA is a plus
- Previous Roles: 5+ years of experience as a corporate or investment banking analyst or in a similar strategic finance role
- Communication and Influence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to build strong relationships across functions, facilitating alignment and driving strategic finance initiatives with diverse teams
- Proactive and Strategic Mindset: Self-motivated, results-oriented professional with a focus on long-term goals and a proactive approach to tackling strategic financial challenges
- Advanced Time Management: Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills, with the capacity to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-Oriented and Analytical: Strong analytical capabilities and advanced mathematical skills, with a demonstrated ability to synthesize complex financial data and create actionable insights
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Microsoft Excel, knowledge of Adaptive a plus
