Position Summary: This position is part of the Arcadium Lithium Global Project Management Office (PMO), focusing on implementing the document management system processes, procedures and workflows.
The role involves collaborating with engineering, quality, operations and maintenance teams, and leading the definition and introduction of a new document management system for current and future projects.
You will assess and understand the current processes/systems implemented on current projects and work on identifying a suitable method for bringing the information from those projects to a global document management system.
This is an enterprise-level subject matter expert individual contributor. While there are no direct reports, this position requires the individual to display the ability to work in a team and have the capability to influence internal and external teams to resolve complex problems.
Travel Requirements: North America, Argentina (up to 30%).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for working on implementing the projects document management system and its associated processes, procedures and workflows.
- Working closely with various global project teams to understand their current document management processes and system to merge them all in one global document management system
- Working closely with technical center and operations team to understand their document management needs from various projects and ensuring that the future document management system addresses those needs
- Working closely with EPC/EPCM partners to communicate Arcadium Lithium's document management system requirements and to successfully implement our processes, procedures and workflows
- Advise management of risks that may affect projects and reporting.
- Working closely with various functional teams to understand their deliverables and requirements for document management and implement those requirements in the new system. Also to create document standards and templates for each functional team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create and refine best practices.
- Perform routine QA/QC audits of project sites and inform Project Managers about issues that need to be resolved and ensure procedures are being implemented correctly and properly
- Create summary and detailed project reports for management and project team members including analysis on the current state, path forward and outstanding process, and procedures.
- Monitor and facilitate business process improvement changes or process changes in DMS.
- Develop training materials and provide consistent and standardized trainings for all new / existing team participants.
- Act as an "agent for change" in the company's DMS implementation and complete transition.
- Support continuous improvement activities and change management.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred, or related field from accredited program required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in document control and document management systems.
- Experience with implementation of a new document management system. Experience with managing document control function through acquisitions and mergers is strongly desired.
- Experience managing document control function on major complex projects worth $500 million or more is required.
- Experience managing document control function in an EPC/EPCM environment with many contractors and suppliers is required.
- Experience with implementing processes, procedures and workflows for document control and/or a new document management system is required.
- Good understanding of multi-disciplinary project deliverables is required.
- Proficient in Office 365, Visio and Document management system such as SharePoint Online, Procore, Oracle unifier, SAP, OpenText, SmartSheets etc.
- PMI-SP or PMP, ISO 9001 Certifications in records management or document control preferred.
- Communicate effectively to a diverse audience of different levels of education and expertise verbally and in writing; able to present to a large audience; works well in one-on-one and group settings requiring excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English required; Spanish language skills are a plus.
