Responsibilities
Provide supervision to ASW/AMFT/APCC interns/trainees according to established legal and ethical codes of the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and VCC Policies and Procedures.
- Provide direct therapeutic and crisis intervention services as needed
- Review and sign progress notes, treatment plans and other documents in client records on a weekly basis, ensuring compliance with governing agencies
- Participate in the Case Review Team to develop, implement and manage the clinical direction of the Community Counseling Services Program
- Submit client files for review by Manager of Behavioral Health
- Coordinate learning agreements and evaluations for any assigned students/volunteers for each school including acting as direct contact and liaison for field placement
- Participate in quality assurance activities and audits
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Msters in Social Work, or Ph.D for Psychology
- Currently licensed by California BBS (LCSW/LMFT, Psychologist)
- Minimum two years' related experience
- Completion of all required training to perform as Clinical Supervisor
- Available and willing to work evening hours
- CPR Certification (BLS Child, Infant, Adult)
- Valid California driver's license and vehicle insurance; reliable transportation, to travel for meetings and/or to gather information for reporting purposes

Pay Range
- $49.00 - $52.00 per hour (may be exempt when hired)
