A Bachelor's degree and relevant program management experience.
SCDC minimum requirements:
(Or an acceptable equivalency as approved by the Division of State Human Resources).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the treatment of sexual offenders is preferred.

Job Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of the Deputy/Assistant Deputy Director of Behavioral Health Services:
- Directs and manages all aspects of the SCDC division of men's residential behavioral health services.
- Will operate with a great deal of autonomy to accomplish goals, assess needs and evaluate programs and services.
- Provide training, clinical supervision, and resource information to agency staff related to behavioral health services.
- Direct and manage all aspects of the residential BH services for male inmates (MH and addiction treatment), to include overseeing personnel matters (hiring, supervision, training, disciplinary actions), and ensure compliance with SCDC policies and procedures, as well as state and federal rules and regulations.
- Provide administrative oversight to the residential MH and addiction treatment units via supervision of the program managers.
- Works closely with the institutional executive staff when necessary to ensure divisional policies and procedures are being followed.
- Provide administrative oversight of activity therapy services via supervision of the activity therapy director.
- Works closely with the DD/Asst. DD of BH services in regard to strategic planning/program expansion, including the provision of grant funding to support new initiatives.
- Attend divisional meeting and trainings and serves as a BH representative on various boards as required.
- Coordinate quality improvement reviews and program audits of services in collaboration with the BH CQM manager.
- Perform other duties as requested by the DD/Asst. DD of BH services.
