The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Maintains 24 hour-a-day accountability for all patient care and nursing activities on assigned inpatient unit. Oversees and directs unit activities including standards development, human resource management, assessment of resource needs and utilization, staff development and communication within nursing practice as well as among other disciplines and departments. Oversees all performance improvement activities at the unit level and participates in committees at all levels within the institution.

Seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Leader to lead a Medical ICU, dedicated to providing high-acuity, evidence-based care for critically ill patients. This leadership role is pivotal in driving clinical excellence, fostering a collaborative team culture, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Key responsibilities include oversight of daily operations, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, staff development, and quality initiatives to ensure exceptional patient care. This role fosters a collaborative, high-performing team while driving innovation, efficiency, and adherence to best practices. The ideal candidate holds a BS (MS preferred), an active RN license, and 3-5 years of critical care experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. CCRN certification is preferred.
