The Project Manager - Construction & Development will oversee and coordinate all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership and management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Implement project management methodologies such as Agile, SCRUM, and Waterfall to ensure efficient project execution.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and provide regular updates on project status.
- Conduct risk management assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges.
- Allocate resources effectively and monitor their performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create and maintain project schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project and JIRA.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring financial controls are in place to monitor expenditures.
- Facilitate effective communication among project teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Lead project meetings and documentation efforts to ensure all project activities are tracked and reported accurately.
- Manage change requests and ensure all changes are documented and communicated to relevant parties.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction and development sector.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, SCRUM, and Waterfall.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of risk management principles and resource allocation strategies.
- Proficient in project scheduling and budgeting techniques.
- Exceptional communication and team leadership skills.
- Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project and JIRA.
- Ability to plan, document, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
