TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Oversee day-to-day operations in cooperation with department directors.

2. Analyze internal programming operations and identify areas for process enhancement.

3. Develop actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

4. Directly oversee operations related to grant management and partner with the CEO, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to budget for sufficient investment capital to achieve growth targets over the near term.

5. Work closely with Human Resources to ensure that identified staffing patterns and needs are addressed.

6. Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders.

7. Ensures that all program development plans and activities are executed keeping with the organization's values, mission, vision, and strategy.

8. Participate in program and/or grant-specific workgroups both internally and externally.

9. Provide supervision to prevention, clinical, support staff, community services and facility managers while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence

10. Ensure compliance with all program requirements, grant requirements, licensing requirements, and ethical protocols.

11. Maintain all HIPAA and 42 CFR confidentiality requirements and regulations as outlined in CARF policies and procedures.

12. Collaborate with the evaluation team to ensure continuous quality improvement and the collection of accurate and timely reporting of all required data.

13. Work closely with colleagues on front-end revenue cycle activities, including billing, collections, denials, and eligibility status of persons served.

14. Review statistical and management reports. Develop, maintain and address key performance indicators based upon strategic planning, community and regional needs, and program requirements.

15. Participate in quality improvement reviews.

16. Treat all individuals with dignity and respect while maintaining agency standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and objectivity.

17. Participation in local, regional, and statewide organizational and governing bodies.

18. Maintain oversight for facility development and maintenance.

19. Handle other duties as required to contribute to the organization's strategic and operational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Master's Degree in Health Management related field (i.e., Management of Business Administration in Healthcare, Masters of Healthcare Administration, etc.) preferred.

2. Experience in the administration of behavioral health programming (minimum of 5 years).

3. Ability to effectively manage programs and staff.

4. Understanding of and ability to manage fiscal and physical assets of the program.

5. Ability to effectively present information to the public, professional agencies, institutions and media.

6. Travel may be required.

7. Supportive of the mission of Prairie Ridge and the patients we serve.

8. Proficiency in oral and written communication skills, as well as documentation requirements.

9. Technology skills allowing for proficiency in use of electronic health record.

10. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is often required to stand, reach with hands and arms, and climb or balance.

The employee must infrequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or more up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
